    Rules Specific for Tu/Th League: Fall   2010         as of 8/17/2010

      2.3.1--- Multi-Wall and fully composite (plastic polymer) bats are not
 permitted nor any other bats listed as non-approved by ASA and MCRD, which
 are posted on the MCSSA website. 

   3.8    With runners on 1st and 2nd or 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and fewer
 than two outs, if a fly ball in the infield is not caught, play shall be
> called dead after the first out is made on a base runner; and other runners
> -- unless forced to advance by the batter reaching first base -- shall
> return to the bases they had attained at the time of the out.  If no out is
> made, the umpire shall  judge when the play is over.

>   5.5.4 A catcher shall be provided by the batting team if  8,9 or 10
> players are present from the fielding team. The batting team shall  provide
> a catcher. This player will not be catching every inning, but there will be
> several catchers during the game.  In this regard, a forfeit is no longer 9
> players , but is now 8 players. The same also applies to a Right Fielder.

     5.5.5--The Catcher shall be an active defensive player
 
      5.6.4-------Each player present shall be entitled to 7 innings of
> defensive play during the course of a doubleheader. The Managers are
> encouraged to play defensively all players a number of innings as evenly as
> possible.
>
     6.3.1.2--If the Managers cannot agree on how many innings to play,
> then 1 extra inning shall be played. The agreement should be made before the
> start of the extra innings. If the game is still tied at the end of 8
> innings, and that was the agreement, then the game is a tie.

    8.1.2---A batter may not be put out at first base if the ball is
> touched by an outfielder.
    8.3.1 Run-by Rule is nullified. No more overrunning bases, and can
> slide, still cannot run into fielder, no force plays except a true force
> play, except at home and 1st base

     11.4...... b. shall be direct head/head against next highest opponents
> record. For example in a tie for 1st, record against 3rd place team shall
> apply, then if still tied, 4th place , etc.

  Additionally---The Pitching heights shall remain at 6/12 feet
