The 2007-2008 winter senior men's basketball 50+ and 60+ season will begin a week later than originally scheduled. The 50+ division will start Sunday December 9th and the 60+ Monday December 10th, both at Bauer Community Center in Rockville. The 55+ will open on Wednesday December 12th at White Oak Middle School in Silver Spring.

So far, 18 teams have registered, the same as last year:

50+ (7 teams; the Baby Boomers are not returning)
Ballers, Over the Hill, Survivors, Spyders, Trojans, Terps, Men of Standard

55+ (6 teams)
Whizzers, Road Runners, Jade East Motel, Baby Boomers, Over the Hill Gang, Saints & Sinners

60+ (5 teams)
Rough Riders, Diamond Exchange, Saints & Sinners, Rulemaking Services, Just Old Guys

The Baby Boomers defeated the Ballers 40-37 to win the Fall Senior Men's Basketball League on the night before Thanksgiving. The Boomers' Drew led all scorers with 16 points. The Boomers finished the season undefeated at 9-0. The Ballers finished 7-3, with all three losses coming at the hands of the Boomers.
