2011 winter indoor
softball.
We use the indoor fields at Champions Field House, located on Southlawn Court,
at the top of the hill on the right, across from the Ice Skating Rink. We are
also returning to a more desirable schedule on Tuesday and Thursdays beginning
on January 4, 2011. There will be no signing up in advance, instead we will pay
as we go each day with a coordinator assigned to each field to collect the
money. We will be using Fields l' 2 and 5. Fields 1 and 2 floors are covered
with artificial turf , while Field 5 has a composite tile floor that should make
the balls travel much faster than the turf. On Field 5 we will be able to use
full sized infield for our drills. They know we begin arriving around 9:00 am.
Sessions will run during January, February and March. The fee is $5.00 per
person per session. Field Coordinators will be: Field 1 AI Beard; Field 2 Spike
Bauroth; and, Field 5 Jim Ganz.
